Venetian blinds are a simple form of blinds comprising thin, horizontal slats connected by cords or fabric strips. These slats can be adjusted for optimal control of light entering a room.

Roller blinds are fabric blinds wrapped around a cylindrical tube that can be opened or closed by rolling up and down in a simple mechanism to adjust the light in the room. Roller blinds come in a manual, cord control option and in a remote-controlled electric option. 

Vertical blinds are made up of vertical slats connected to a track at the top. They can be opened or closed fully or partially in a simple sliding movement. Vertical blinds are ideal for large windows and bi-fold doors, as well as curved and bay windows.

Perfect Fit blinds are a type of energy-efficient blinds that neatly take the shape of windows and doors by adjusting into the frame without the need for drilling or screwing. They come in a variety of styles like Pleated, Venetian, and Roller blinds.

Day and Night blinds use alternating layers of sheer and opaque fabrics that can be adjusted for light and privacy control, turning the blinds into a day mode that lets in more light, and a night mode that blocks light for privacy.

Custom blinds are bespoke blinds made to specific measurements and design preferences. Custom blinds are designed in cooperation with the clients to perfectly fit their windows or doors, especially unusual or custom-built ones.

Plantation shutters are interior shutters made up of wide, horizontal slats that can be tilted to adjust light and air. Plantation shutters are directly mounted inside window frames and add a timeless and aesthetic look to interiors. 

Plantation shutters come in many different types, such as:

• Tier-on-Tier Shutters: Tier-on-tier shutters, also known as double hung shutters, are made up of an upper and lower panel that operate separately, meaning you can open both or one at a time, maximising privacy while maintaining optimal light and view control.

• Cafe-Style Shutters: Cafe-style shutters comprise a panel that only covers the bottom part of the window, leaving the top half exposed for light penetration. This shutter style allows for a perfect mixture of privacy and a healthy amount of light at the same time, making it especially suitable for kitchens and street-facing windows.

Louvres are the individual slats or blades that make up shutters and blinds. They are easily tiltable or movable to allow for light or ventilation inside a room. Louvres are often made from wood, faux wood, metal, or glass.

A window recess is the space or distance between the inside of a wall and the window fitted into it. This depth or extra space allows for decorative elements such as shutters and blinds to be placed.

Bay windows are a type of window that protrudes from the building outwards, which forms a bay or extension on the outside of the building. Bay windows are traditionally made of three or more panels, adding more space to the interior of a room, more light penetration, and a greater aesthetic appeal.

Installation refers to the process of choosing, measuring, and mounting shutters or blinds onto a window frame. Installation of shutters differs from blinds, with one being attached to the window frame and the other being mounted inside the window recess.

Privacy control is the ability to prevent outside eyes from seeing inside a room or interior. Different shutters and blinds offer different methods of privacy control through the manipulation of panels, fabrics, and slats.
